Handwoven scarf in local British Bluefaced Leicester, Shetland and merino lambswool. Intricate pinwheel design. Soft and warm.

Undyed ecru cream, blues and naturally dyed buttery yellow (mahonia) in the weft, and beautiful top quality end of line lambswool sourced from small local wool mills in the warp. Circular, no waste.

210 x 34cm plus hand twisted fringes.

Handwoven by me in my Dartmoor studio with traditional 8 shaft weaving looms.

Washing :

Handwash in hand hot water without agitation using gentle wool wash or non rinse wash for wool and delicates. Press the item down into the warm water and let it soak for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse if necessary in similar temperature warm water to avoid ‘shocking’ the wool from hot to cold water, which can cause it to felt and/or shrink. Gently squeeze to remove excess water, roll in a towel, then dry flat away from direct heat. Steam press if needed.
